We are extremely excited to let you know that KITTENS IN SPACE is now LIVE on Kickstarter!
Another cute cat game you ask? WHY YES! There are never enough cute cat games! :P
What is Kittens in Space?
The year is 2199, and the Moon is overrun with kittens.
Humanity’s first Lunar Kitten Adoption Center is in crisis, struggling to manage a low-gravity furball of a situation—and it’s up to you to save the day! Wedged between sleek skyscrapers in a bustling lunar metropolis, the shelter makes brilliant use of vertical space—because hey, low gravity means high stacking. What looks cramped by Earth standards is actually a cozy, multi-level paradise for space kittens.
In Kittens in Space, a fast & furry-ous card-shedding game for 1–6 players, you’ll race to rescue and rehome adorable cosmic cats before your opponents can. Play cards on multiple shifting stacks, balancing luck and strategy, and be the first to shed your hand to win.
Jeff and Rylie are a father-daughter design team from Rochester, NY and have had a shared love of playing games since Rylie was just in grade school. While Rylie was home from college one summer, a card game design competition inspired the two to splash into game design and the framework for Kittens in Space was born.

Hello Cat Rescue community!
Welcome to the first post-campaign monthly recap, which will continue until the games are in your hands!
Wow… what an absolutely incredible campaign! We rocketed past $35K just in time to meet our final stretch goal on June 12th. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed. For those of you who’d still like to get in on the action, Late Pledge is OPEN until mid-July!
Manufacturing has begun, and if all goes well, we are aiming to fulfill Cat Rescue in September. We’ll keep you all updated.
Kittens in Space
The time is nigh… The Kickstarter campaign for our fast and furry-ous card-shedding game, Kittens in Space, will be launching on JULY 8th! That's less than a week from today! Mark your calendars, folks: With in-depth descriptions of gameplay, adorable cat-themed art, and a large array of exciting pledge tiers, the Kickstarter page will contain all kinds of goodies. Whether you’re playing with family at the dinner table, hosting a game night, or even playing solo, this is the game for you!
The Kickstarter will also include a taste of our mini-expansion, CLAWS OF CHAOS. This special add-on features unique ability cards that spice up gameplay: whether you’re taking extra actions, temporarily breaking the rules, or even making your opponents meow, these cards offer a range of exciting power-ups and abilities. You won’t want to miss it!

Lunar Rush Innovations
As much as we love cats, we also love shooting for the moon. Lunar Rush: Innovations, the expansion for our hit game Lunar Rush, will be available to demo at GenCon. We hope to see you there! If you’d like to learn how to play, check out this video by Hungry Gamer, who explains everything wonderfully.
At RAGECON this past weekend, the designer, Stephen "Skippy" Brown and Bernie united to teach a full table of eager previous and new supporters of the game, with ALL of the asymmetric factions in play. It was a great time and the prototypes for the game look beautiful! We can't wait to get this Kickstarter off the ground later this year and get the game out to you!

Our demo schedule is on the GenCon events website, and we'll be demoing Lunar Rush, Lunar Skyline, Cyber Pet Quest, and Omicron Protocol. Please check it out, and sign up now!
Both Cat Rescue and Kittens in Space will be available to demo in the booth. The designer of Lunar Skyline, Charlie McCarron, will also be at the booth to do short demos of the game and sign copies for people!

The Cat’s Out of the Bag: We Made it past $35,000! Final Stretch Goal Unlocked

We did it! We’ve reached full cat-pacity: all of our stretch goals were unlocked with nearly 8 hours to spare. We had an amazing journey, and are truly humbled by the overwhelming support that Cat Rescue has received. THANK YOU for sticking with us!
Final Stretch Goal Unlocked
We blasted through our previous goals in quick succession, and have already surpassed our final and ULTIMATE goal! Thanks to you, we’ve now secured wooden Delivery Tokens for EVERY SINGLE copy of Cat Rescue! Each double-sided token is printed in full-color for a bright, satisfying look and feel. For a look at their size and appearance, take a look at this unboxing video of our recent production sample, which features the cardboard prototype.

Hey Rescuers!
Wow, we barely posted that $30K this morning and we've already demolished through $32K. Thank YOU all so much for the support! We see a lot of you upgrading to the all-in pledges, and we don't "blame" you. :P Not only do you get both the WHITE and BLACK wooden cat meeple with the all-in pledges, you ALSO get not 5, not 7, BUT 10 "Paws of Power" Mini-Expansion cards in those pledges!
Now the set is complete, and your Cat Rescue game can finally be chaotic like herding cats!
